Nights At The Circus by Angela Carter

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-20628839

Nights At The Circus by Angela Carter has been chosen as the best ever winner of the James Tait Black Prize.

I first read NATC when I was seventeen, and I hated it. Then I read it again, and loved it. Every time I've read it since, I've liked it even more.

I recall that the word "steatopygous" is used in the first chapter; it's a high-falutin' word for having a fat arse. Which is typical of her sense of humour.

I have a professor who keeps telling me to read this book, but my library doesn't seem to own it. It's very frustrating.

Oh, I also review books. Sometimes I mention zombies even though the books have nothing to do with zombies.
