Hello, my name is Maria.

I've wanted to be a writer for most of my life, but I am new to fiction. I'm finishing my first book and starting my second. I'm also going back to school for creative writing. (stolen from my biography)

My newfound focus on writing has led to a need to connect with other writers. I also hope to find a critique partner (in the future) and I'd love to read other peoples work.

Fantasy is my favorite genre to read and write.

I'm excited to join the AW water cooler. I hope to meet a lot of people and learn a lot about writing.

I've only lived in Arizona for 6 months. I love it here! 81 degree in December? I'm never going back to the Northeast.
