Hello. The name's MeanMachine. Don't wory thought, I'm not all that mean :p.

As you might guess, I'm new to this forum. Noneless, I hope to hang around, the place looks great.

There's not much to say about me. I'm a 22 years old male who works in a pizza restaurant. I like researching history, reading books, watching movies, tv and anime, playing video games on various platforms, and writing. Lots and lots of writing.

I mainly write fantasy, but recently, I've taken on science-fiction as well. And I belive the Sci-Fi story I'm curently brainstorming might just be worthy of being published. I won't know until I try!

I hope to meet a lot of people here, and hopefully, have fun.

Welcome. Good luck with the science fiction story. I'm also a fantasy writer who is looking to branch out because I have to face the fact that agents are deluged with epic fantasy after epic fantasy from inexperienced authors. Science fiction isn't quite as common.

Welcome! I'm actually going out of my 'fantasy' comfort zone as well, toward...other things. Hope your SF story works out, as I enjoy that.

It is true that the Fantasy books market is oversaturated. The Science Fiction one, much less so. From where I stand, it seems dominated by the big 'franchises', like Star Wars, Star Trek, Warhammer, Halo, etc.

Maybe there will be a place for an Epic Military Sci-Fi story in there, huh? Well, I hope so.
