Hi! I'm relatively new to the world of writing but last week when I got to English class my teacher told be to start writing more; so here goes nothing. I recently started a new writing blog which I would appreciate if you would so kindly check out. I would also love to talk to you guys! http://foodexercises.com/

Behind you!
Samball, your teacher is wise, because if you work at it, you can easily learn more here about writing your very best than most of us ever could in a classroom. Welcome to you!

What sort of thing(s) do you most like to write?

Maryn, glad to meet you

I'm big into sports, and so I plan on writing more and more about them. I live in Charlotte right now so going to bobcats games is the first step in that direction. I am also a culinary student, so food and I go very well together. all in all I think right now I'm just going to write about whatever inspires me.

Sam, Nice to meet you too

Sam!

Hi and welcome! I'll be happy to check out your blog. I'll be sure to leave you a note so you know I stopped by. My grandpa was a chef, so I'm sure I'm going to love it if you're writing about food.

You're teacher is correct- writer's write.

If I could add to the advice? Some writers are better than others naturally, but that doesn't mean you can't be a great writer! Dedication and persistence is a huge part of the craft of writing. Check out the forums if you don't believe me (especially the SYW forums). It takes a lot of heart to be a writer. I'm sure you've got it!

I know you can see my post count and see I'm pretty new too, but if you ever need someone to commiserate with, feel free to send me a message. This place is all about support. Everyone here is ready to give it to you.

Good luck and happy writing!
