it was inevitable

Hello everyone! I'm new to AW, and surprised I didn't find this place sooner.

I have always loved to write, but I was too unsure of my work to show anyone. Last year I applied to a decent university in NYC for creative writing and got accepted. I didnt end up going, though. Instead I pursued my other passion, culinary and pastry arts.

I love the decision I made, and I love my school. But I couldn't stay away from writing. After a year of not producing anything I have begun again. I even signed up for a creative writing course at my local college for the spring.

Welcome. Writing has a way of doing that. Just when you think you're going to give up on it, it fights its way back into your life.
