A publisher or agency using Google ads to solicit your novel probably isn't anyone you want to write for.

Time and Tide Publishing
Hot on the heels of Theresa Oliver's Write More Publications comes another new publishing house started by a Firefly and Wisp author. Were it not for an announcement on the F&W blog I wouldn't have known that Tina Carreira was the owner of Time and Tide:
http://timeandtidepublishing.com/index.html Ms Carreira, whose debut novel Power of the Moon was originally going to be published by F&W but has just been released by Time and Tide, is currently the only author on a rather sparse website. There's no mention of the fact that Carreira owns the company. Quote:
I'm confused by T&T's use of the phrase 'multi genre fiction'. The banner on their home page invites us to "enter a world of fantasy...romance." There are two lines, the standard: Quote:

There's nothing about the marketing plan either, although I suspect that the authors will be doing most of the hard work: Quote:

I'm always a little skeptical of romance and/or erotica publishers who say they won't touch "taboo subjects or illegal acts" and expect that to be a clear enough guideline. Whose taboos? And really, all illegal acts? Illegal acts, from murder to corporate espionage, fuel an awful lot of fiction plots.
If what you mean is that there are certain kinds of sex that you don't want to publish, then say which ones. Presumably your authors are grownups who can stand to read those words.

When I researched erotica and erotic romance publishers before querying, I gave high marks to those with clear guidelines on what they considered 'taboo'. If they didn't, it was another reason to stay away from them, added to their payment history, publishing experience, and industry ranking.
