I'm new. Please be nice:)

Not too sure how to describe myself, but I will try. I've always been one of those imaginative people. You know the kind that live in their own little world in their head. Or maybe those are crazy people. Either way... thats me. Anyways, I used to make up complex stories in my head... and act them out in my shower. Eventually these stories, got far too extensive for my 'head', so I was pressed with the task of putting them on paper.

Let me make this clear. Writing does not come as naturally to me, as I would like. Storytelling on the other hand... does:) See the smiley.

I've only been writing for the last six months... aggressively. I don't count tweets and facebook posts, as writing:p I'm working on three part YA series. Because YA seems to be where its at, and those are the books I read... mainly. Even though I am mostly an adult. Yes, I sneak into the YA section of the bookstore, and hang my head in shame when I reach the counter.

I'm hoping to learn 'A TON' here, maybe make a few friends... who share my sarcastic sense of humor, and penchant for YA... and horror. And... yeah, I would like to finish my novel... and avoid the dreaded 'Procrastination virus', that seems to have taken me over.

There is no need to hang your head in shame when you go buy YA books. A lot of them are top notch!

Welcome. Don't feel bad about YA books. Just tell everyone you're reading them as research for the books you're writing. That way, you'll impress people by making them think you're a big time writer. ;)

No, you're not crazy. You do fit the description of some of the coolest people I've ever met, though...
