I'm new to AW and posting here to say hello and introduce myself. Most of my life I've been painting, but started writing about eight years ago. I love to travel and have lived abroad for the past six or so years. Presently I'm in Chicago, but soon will be on my way to China for a one year teaching gig. Most of my writing is life writing about my experiences abroad. I've written one memoir and one autobiographical novel. Right now I'm working on a book proposal - or should I say, I'm trying to figure out how to write a book proposal for a memoir. Any suggestions/advice would be welcome. I look forward to meeting some like-minded people on AW.

Hello and :welcome: to AW! I don't have any advice either on that, but I'm sure there's plenty of people on the forums that do. :)
