The stress! The worry! The constantly checking sales figures and trying to find ways to market and promote my books. It's too much!

I'm going back to my day job. I'll forget about writing forever.

Well there was a major one about AW switching to a tiered membership system. Nothing as awesome as last year's steampunk forum though.

I had actually forgotten it was April 1st until a friend gave me an early April Fool's Day prank.

I would have held out on telling the truth until mid-day, but that just seemed mean. I didn't want anyone spending time and energy on a real response when it couldn't be further from the truth.

Even if I did get a day job again, I'd still continue self-publishing. I'm enjoying it immensely.
