Goodreads and Kindle Select

As long as you're not actually selling the book on Goodreads, it shouldn't be a problem. KDP Select is an exclusive-rights program for distribution, but you're free to promote it anywhere, I think.

Personally, I'm not making my non-KDP-Select title available through Goodreads: it looks like they do not allow updates and revisions of an existing work, which seems incredibly broken and backwards to me. Instead, I'm directing people to the distributors where the title is available (Smashwords, Amazon, B&N, etc.)

Yes, your book can be listed with Goodreads. You cannot offer the e-book for sale anywhere other than Amazon. The print book can be available anywhere.
