Hello Everyone!

I've been looking around for a website filled with writers and readers and it seems I have found one! I look forward to meeting/talking with all of you and hope to find a home in this massive tangle of conversations.

I'll probably just start with perusing the forums for a bit to get my bearings :)

Welcome to Absolute Write, dmair. I think you might have just found the place you were looking for.

I've spent my share of time in Indianapolis. There was this amazing bar with over 500 varieties of Scotch. I've never been back, but someday.

My vision of Indiana is very industrial northwards and very pastoral southwards. Other than the hydroplane racing, I don't know much else about the latter, though my former flatmate lived just across the water in Kentucky. Everything in her neck of the woods was tobacco fields, bluegrass, and horses.

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.
