hi everyone,
as you may know, alphabet has moved on from her position as the poetry forum mod (though she is still an active and valuable contributor to the AW community). when jenna and macallister asked me to take the reins, i was honored.
those of you who know me know how i feel about poetry in general, and about the value of this forum in particular.
i'm going to go ahead and stick this thread at the top, and i'll use it occasionally to make announcements or updates of interest to those who come here.
also, please see alphabet's "look here" thread and wordsoup's "please read before posting a poem" thread for helpful information.
much more later, i'm sure; but, for now, thank you for the warm welcome, and i look forward to sharing our work and a lot of stimulating discussion.
