SYW Question (NOT why can't I post)

Sorry if this is in the basic FAQ or something like that, I read everything over and I don't think I saw any explanation to my question. Anyway, I just got an account here and was browsing around the website and saw a number of different forums like fiction, non-fiction, more or less every genre. What exactly makes those forums different from SYW?

Those are for discussing each genre.

SYW, is, unsurprisingly, for sharing your work.

As Scarlett said, the general forums are for discussing those genres in a general way. Authors, books, etc.

SYW is only for posting work to be critted and for critting other's work.

SYW is for critiquing.

If you look at the top page of AW here, you'll see that each forum is described.
