So last Monday I got an email from an agent who just finished reading my full, saying that she really enjoyed it, and that my characters kept her intrigued until the end. She said she was "a bit concerned" that the hook might not be strong enough, but that she was going to send sample pages to her partner and get back to me within the week.
So obviously I freaked out and got all excited, and waited incredibly impatiently for her response, which I got this morning.
She said she was going to have to pass, because my MC is 19 years old, and she believed that would make the book a hard sell.
I'd probably cry if I didn't have the overwhelming urge to punch something right now.
