Profile picture--upload failed?

Is it also within the file size guidelines?

Are you uploading it from your harddrive or from a URL?

The URL option won't work.

What error message do you get? Anything other than "Upload failed"?

The photo does get from the HD to the control Panel, but when I click, "Save Changes" I get the "File upload failed."

Looks to me like it worked; empty your cache and look at your profile; you've got a Profile picture.

Are you confusing the Profile picture with an Avatar?

Avatars appear to the left of posts; Profile pics only show on your profile.

Okay, maybe that's it. I thought I could replace my Avatar with the picture that I uploaded, like the picture below your name. So I deleted my avatar and tried to upload that picture but... How would I get that picture below my name on posts?

B. D. Eyeslie stopped uploading to her Profile Picture panel, and instead uploaded to the Avatar panel.

The two are often confused.

The Profile pic only shows on your profile; the Avatar shows on all your posts.

It's pretty easy to confuse them.
