How do you cut between many different things...

...happening at one time? Such as it cutting between several things every few seconds for a period of time. Should a new scene be written for each cut?

You could do it as a montage or use mini slugs.

OR

set up the locations and situations and then do INTERCUT.

What you want the scene to accomplish will determine how you write it.

Montages work very well for dramas or romcoms.

Intercuts for thrillers, horrors and action.
