[Publisher] Black Moon Books

I came upon this small publishing house the other day. They're putting together a nice little anthology and I was wondering if anyone had had any dealings with them. Their available novels are all by the same author, which leads me to believe (perhaps prematurely) that this publishing outfit was thrown together as someone's personal press.

Thoughts?

The website is registered to Thomas Carpenter, the press's sole author, so I think it's safe to say this is a self-publishing enterprise.

Yeah, that's how it looked to me as well.

The anthology looks to pay decently however; do you think it would be a good idea to submit?

Perhaps it would be helpful if you asked yourself a few questions:
What makes them a good choice?
Do they have distribution?
Have you seen his book(s) in any bookstores?
How long have they been in business?
Who is the publisher, and what kind of experience does he have?

- how many sales have they been able to get on average per title.

Site hasn't been updated, but is still publishing. However, with the exception of the anthology back in '12, all books are by Carpenter or Volk.
