True Crime Proposal

I've been searching for somewhere I can see an example of a successful true crime proposal.
Any suggestions?
(and I checked, I dont think I've asked this question before although there may be something similiar, if a bit dated, so please forgive me if so.)

You probably aren't going to find a proposal exactly what you're looking for. I spent hours checking and I found one memoir proposal. One. You're going to have to sift through books to find proposals that aren't scientifically geared. Go to a bookstore and find a few proposal books, then find one that is most like your type of book, then adapt yours to your own story. I spent more time writing my proposal than I did the first draft of my memoir, LOL. Have fun
