I have a manuscript that I've been working on in WordPerfect, and I recently decided to change the page numbering to the "[last name]/[title]/[page #]" format. However, when I tried to do that, it just ended up listing every page as the same number. Is there some way I could switch to a new page-numbering format without either starting a whole new WP document or manually re-numbering each page?

There are two ways to do it. The way you seem to be trying should work - it looks like custom numbering (under page formatting, numbering sub-menu, "Custom Format"). I tried that and it worked for me. The second way is to set up a header or footer with the name and title, then, while you have the header open, go to Format/Page/Insert page number. That inserts a code for the page. I have Corel version 9 of WP. I don't know the newer versions.

If nothing above works, which it should, highlight the whole text, hit control C, open a new word document, hit control V, select insert and select page numbers from the drop down. Choose what you want to use there
