Is this for wearing around the house, or were you planning on flashing people in the supermarket parking lot? Because trenchcoats usually work better for that sort of thing, I hear.
Save yourself a trip to the mall. At the best hotels, you can rip off one of those fluffy white jobs. They'll just put it on your bill without mentioning it. There's a premium, but you get to put yourself in the mood for writing some 30's noir every time you wear it.

Back in the 1980s one of my high school friends, a big Aerosmith fan, wanted to look like Steven Tyler. So he went to the mall and picked out an expensive long robe that looked like a kimono. For the next couple weeks he wore the robe everywhere he went, until someone told him, "Hey, dude, what's with the robe? You look like an old housewife wearing a kimono."
