Awesome, thanks FOTSGreg! I will check into it for this little Dell Mini 1018 I just bought. What AV would you recommend?

I use a combination of SpyBot Search & Destroy (free like Zone Alarm) and AVG Internet Security with ZoneAlarm. I also used to use Windows Malware and Windows Defender programs before those stopped updating. One of my laptops carries a never-out-of-date corporate version of Symantec on it, but it stopped updating a couple years ago. Still, I swear by Symantec, AVG, SpyBot S&D, and ZoneAlarm used in conjunction with on another.

Windows firewall I do not trust.

Sounds like good coverage.SO maybe I can use a couple of those on the netbook, will have to see, I got confirmation just a bit ago in a dell chat that it does NOT have macafee, which I am glad to not have since I would have to uninstall it to install zone alarm. :)
