San Francisco 1906, some months before the earthquake. Traffic was chaotic, there were no rules of priority nor traffic lights; cars were driven from the right side!!

The camera was fixed in front of a tram.

A native of the city, I do not recall a rise on Market Street that obscured half the Ferry Building. Perhaps it was leveled by the quake.

Very interesting video, and I thought drivers today were crazy!

Almost, Haggis, but I am old enough to remember the Bay before the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges were built. Loved those rides on the ferries.
