I'm editing my MTS and have just realised that I have to cut one of my favourite scenes. It just doesn't fit anymore. But I love that scene! It has moments of comedy, it fills out one of the characters and drops a good red herring. But....

It just doesn't fit anymore.

I had to do this yesterday. I created a file called "Darling" and put it on my desktop. I'll visit it a couple of times, weep and wail and gnash teeth, and then pitch it in the trash.

(Shh. Don't tell, but it really wasn't very good anyway.)
