Ronnie James Dio, singer with Rainbow and Black Sabbath, died today.
One of the very best rock singers and a true gentleman.

I just saw that on a Facebook update from Down.

They were notified by Dio's wife, Wendy. He died at 7:45 am.

Aww man, that sucks. What a character...won't see many more like him.

My first arena-show was Dio and Y&T. I guess that really was a long time ago.
