Hopefully this is in the right place. I think it is!
I'm supposed to be writing a 'study edition' or annotated catalogue of some primary sources for my masters degree.
I chose to write about love letters from various world wars, but I've just had my application for copyright refused, which means I need a new set of source material, in a hurry!
This thing isn't too long, only 6000 odd words, but I'm literally sitting here, racking my brain, wondering where on earth I can find some primary sources to use.
Essentially, this project was designed for ancient history students to write about ancient texts, so copyright wasn't a problem, but it is for me, since mine has to be on modern texts!
Any ideas about how I can alter my topic, or find primary source material?
So sad that they refused my request - that material was perfect, but it's in another state, and I can't afford to commute a second time, and there's too much to read in the half weekend day that the library is open
