So I finished my first this morning. First draft. First novel. Going to put it aside for a couple weeks and then revise.

What a neat feeling it is to print it all out to see how thick it is!

I'm at 80,000 words, 350 or so pages. We'll see how that shapes up in revisions.

What a marvelous feeling to write;

The End

Also, once you print it out double spaced, the resulting volume makes you feel like you've written "War and Peace! Congrats!

Well done! That's a greta accomplishment. Now forget all about it - and you'll see that when you come back to it your subconscious mind has been working away at it all the time, and you'll be amazed at how accomplished it is!
