Thanks for the link, Terza. I'm in the process (I think) of inheriting the family archives from my dad. I should take the time to go through them and see exactly what I've got--I know my grandfather did make home movies, and my father is seldom without his camera. (Ditto his son-in-law and granddaughter...)
Editorial footnote: Mary's family seems to have had some serious money. That was most likely the family's summer home by the shore. Their fulltime home was probably something of real substance.

Well, actually, that's not entirely true...seems like I really come from a long line of people who were disowned and disinherited and therefore became Po Folk...
But, srsly, Mary's fam was clearly loaded. Looks like she led a blessed life with good friends and family. We should all be so lucky
