I have been on several forums before. The introductory post is always a big milestone in your progress. Although most people lurk for a while, I am ready to jump right in, as I am eager to get going on my book.

So!

I, am Noogah.

I am thirteen.

My favorite genre is fantasy, and Sci-Fi. I grow tired of LOTR and Harry Potter esque fantasy (Not saying that they aren't good; many are very enjoyable, and well written. They just get old.) so my goal is to write as original a fantasy as I possibly can, and try to see it published.

I look forward to using these forums both as an aid, and to aid fellow writers. :)

Hiya, Noogah, and welcome to you.

If you love fantasy, allow me to introduce you to George R.R. Martin's series, A Song of Ice and Fire. The novels so far are:

A Game of Thrones
A Clash of Kings
A Storm of Swords
A Feast for Crows

I'm not a fantasy reader, at all, and it took some skilled bullying to get me to try these. Now I own them in hardcover, I liked them so much. I hope you will, too.

Thanks for that! I have never heard of that series. I'm at the library right now. I'll be sure to look it up!
