Got a question.

About the middle of last year on Duotrope's Digest they had a selection for 'quirky and unusual' for a listing of genre and now....they don't. I was so excited with that choice as it fits something I have been working on.

I tried to google the Q and U for agents/publishers and did not find that. The thought of having to go through all the agents/publishers and read each one to see if they do this type is daunting to say the least.

Any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time for any help you might have.

I've heard that term used in both good and bad contexts by agents, but cannot remember who they were. I guess I've just run across those terms throughout the years. LitMatch and Agent Query may have a way to search for those key words, but I'm not sure. Good luck!

... this was not at all what I thought this thread would be about.

:e2bummed:

but, as an aside, I think the classifications in general could use a bit more diversification, or just plain old subcategories. Too much of what I write doesn't pigenonhole neatly into the usual genres that it cause no end of headaches when I try and find markets for my short stories.
