Watching Point Pleasant on Chiller and baking a ham for lunch today. My husband and The Girl went to church. I stayed home because I had to cook the ham and he didn't tell me we were going this morning so I hadn't showered or washed my hair and had no clothes ready. Excuses, I know, but valid considerations for me.
Looking at the new cookbooks I got for Christmas and determining that 2010 will be the year of cooking for me....

Jeez you had me going for a moment. First a new forum ( to begin with I thought 'hang on, how come you've never noticed that before!') now this.

Marveling at the fact my teen-age son is just as much of a fashion hound as I am.
I just got off the phone with my friend whose having problems with her teen-age daughter. She's looking for "solutions" to her daughter's behavior.
I don't quite understand. Children do as they are told by their parents and well,that's it. No negotiation,promises,begging,etc. I'm afraid my advice wasn't taken well.
