I read someplace that someone should ALWAYS introduce themself in a forum. This freaked me out because I didn't do that.

I claim an exemption since I'm a charter member. I joined only a couple of months after the forum was up and running . . . unlike some of you latercomers who didn't join until 2006 (not that I'm mentioning any names). Besides, cats never do what they're suppose to do; it's the principle of the thing.

I just joined to get some opinions on a 48-page prologue I'm outlining for a vampire/zombie story where I switch from first-person to third-person to second-person with muliple POVs and the occaional flashback and flashforward (it's part of a dream sequence). My main concern is whether there should be one space or two after a period (full stop). I should mention I'm using a Franklin Gothic font. I kind of like the look of three spaces after a period. I think it will make my future best-seller, and probably best book of all time, really stand out when I send it to agents.

Go rogue and do away with quotations and punctuation. Make the reader think about what he or she is reading.
