I have been trying for days to print my cover from gimp to a pdf and maintain the correct size. I know how to make pdf's, that is not the issue. The issue is when I print to exact size the image comes out all distorted and huge. It won't let me set the size manually. I don't know what to do? Any help/ideas to print my wraparound cover to pdf to scale would be much loved. ;) I have been using gimp, but I also have picture it.

Hum. I don't have that one. I use PDFCreator or DoPDF mostly. I've had plenty of struggles setting size, though. Main problem is usually whether the virtual printer's global settings (Control panel, Printers, etc.) are done -- and shecked over thoroughly -- before trying to set size through the Print dialog. Sometimes I just fscking give up and use something else. Every one of'm has a different range of attitude and quirks. *steam rising* Just like real printers, lol

Ack, forgot to mention -- IrfanView has a PDF plugin that's pretty awesome. Ecellent for creating PDF same size as image. You might want to try it. At any rate, you'll get a great free image viewer lol
