The new issue of Twist Collective (online knitting magazine) is up with my poem "Clotho Visits the Local Yarn Store"!!

Not a traditional venue, but it paid more than I suspect I'll ever get from a poetry magazine. ;) And it has a two-"page" spread with photos :hooray:

That's awesome Di!

Go you for finding such a place to publish your poem--which was beautiful, by the way.

Congratulations, Di. (Hmmm, this opens whole new avenues of places to publish poetry, not just traditional literary or poetry mags.)

Di, that looks beautiful.

And it's given me an idea.

Interesting you say so. The last stanza wasn't in the original, as I posted it here. They accepted it, then asked if I might have another stanza in me (kindly making it clear the decision was mine). That's what came out!

I think it was actually someone here who gave me the idea. I wrote something about being five years old, and she suggested sending it to an educators' magazine. (Never did look into that, though I should.)
