I am working on a guide to cloth diapering. And I want to hold a focus group on this subject, as well as other natural living, attachment parenting issues, in order to get personal stories for my book and also to pick the brains of parents who might initally be uncertain about whether or not cloth diapering is for them. I have a group of about 20-25 parents that I can get together for a discussion, but I am not sure how to handle the information that I gather. Is it alright to video tape the discussion or should I just use audio. Do I need to have the participants sign any sort of release? I've never done this before and don't want to collect stories or information that I will not be able to use later.
Thanks!
