I'm a little stuck and not sure where to look. I wrote two short stories that are in the romance category. I've never written a romance story before so this is all new to me. These stories aren't you typical romance guy/girl love. The stories are between two guys.

One is between two teenagers (14/15 years old). There's not much romance in the story. The 2 characters somewhat meet at the end of the story. The other one i wrote has some love making in it (it fits with how the story is written and what's it about but it's not graphic).

This is where I'm stuck. I'm putting the finally touches on to get them ready to mail out. I just don't know who would except these types of stories. I searched the net and got flustered. Novels I think I'll be okay with trying to find an agent. it's the short stories that I'm having trouble finding places to submit. if anyone could point me in the right direction on to where to look or maybe give a magazine who would except these types of stories, i would be most grateful.

Depending on how long the second story is, you might want to consider some of the romance epublishers. m/m romance is a huge and popular subgenre in ebooks.

You might have trouble placing the one with teenagers though, since all the romance epubs I'm familiar with require that the characters be legal adults.

Both stories are around 4k in length. The one with the teenagers, the characters don't interact with each other until the end.

epubs...I got a lot of searching to do. Thanks!!!

4K is a little short for most epubs. But they're definitely worth checking out. Especially in the romance genre. And especially for m/m romance.

When I read the thread title, I thought "are you serious?", but now I understand your predicament. All I can offer is the same advice Twizzle gave. Sorry.

A lot of the ePubs do short stories and anthologies, usually themes or seasonal. Teenagers are going to be awkward though (aren't the always?). Have you considered some of the more liberal teen mags? If you can spin it as "inspirational" you might get a bite from a predominantly non-fiction mag.
