I'm a Cardinals fan. They had a good year, but didn't quite make the show this time.

Between the Yankees and the Phillies I have to give the nod to the Yanks. There is at least a slight connection with the Yankees and Nashville. Our little AAA team was once affiliated with the Yankees (Mattingly and a few other stars started here). Steinbrenner used to own Nashville Bridge (which actually makes barges); I'm not sure whether he still does or not. Come to think of it . . . maybe I should be for Philly! ;-)

And I heard Fox was going to be televising the world series so that means I'll miss some of my favorite TV shows. Boo hiss!

Well, I'm an affirmed Yankee hater, BUT... my son's little league team this year was the Yankees and he's taken a liking to them AND I just can't bring myself to root for a team named after girl horses, SO I'll be rooting for the Yankees, as much as it kills me.

I checked Stubhub and there are tickets available for all the games at Yankee stadium, but not for the Philadelphia games. WTF?

Actually, I found tickets for $300. That's about the same scalpers were getting last year for the Series.

1 game to none for the Phils. Lee pitched a gem.

don't put it all on your boys. i mean, cliff lee was insane last night. he had 4 pitches working perfect all night.

i'm pretty sure he's taking β-blockers too. :D he's a cool cucumber to say the least.

No one said they were done - but when only Jeter does anything, it's frustrating. And considering Texiera and Swisher have pretty much done jack all post-season, that's also frustrating.

We don't like to lose. Not even one game.
