PW on virtual book tours

I thought some of you might find this Publisher's Weekly article on virtual book tours interesting -- it's mostly about making sure people know where you'll be appearing, whether the appearance is virtual or in-person.

I really like the idea of appearing at a book club via Skype -- have any of you done that?

Just wanted to say thanks, since no one else seemed willing to do so. It was a good article and I didn't know anything about Booktours.com. Now that I've finally sold a manuscript, information like this is very useful to me. So, thanks a bunch.

This is being discussed at our publisher's author forum quite extensively now. It's the way of the future, IMHO.
