I saw season 1 of Green Wing this summer, on Hulu, and absolutely loved it. I also loved the (literal) cliffhanger ending.

Now, I see that Hulu has posted season 2, and I am wondering whether I should watch it. There are so many shows where the producers take the plot to it's logical conclusion, and still keep going, stripping the show of all that's good and clever... I don't want a crappy season 2 to ruin the wonderful season 1 for me... so, for those who've seen it, does Green Wing jump the shark in season 2, or is it still worth watching?

Thanks!

There's a fucking CRACKING scene with a dwarf in one episode. My god, I peed myself laughing. You have to watch it.

Or was that season one? It's been so long since I saw them. But the dwarf stayed in my mind.

It must have appeared in Season 2, then. Sorry, HE.

When the dwarf appears, pull on the rubber pants. You will pee yourself laughing. I swear, it's....my guts ache just thinking about that episode.

Season Two isn't quite what Season One was, IMO. It becomes a lot more absurd, which is the beauty of the show of course, but for me the balance was better in Season One. However, I would still watch the whole lot over again in a heartbeat.
You might be interested to know that there is a Christmas special which rounds off the whole show after Season Two. It's pretty hilarious too.

Well, I took your advice scarlet, and am glad I did. Three episodes into season 2, and I can't stop laughing. I love it. I love everything about it. The scene with the swan had me on the floor. Oh. My. Goodness. Brilliant stuff. Thanks for the rec, sp. Thanks, Hulu.
