Quick look and review.
New, Children's Magazine orientation, look a bit amateurish and clumsy in their presentation. Difficult to see what market or aims they really have. Small operation.....
So...why would you be querying them?
Are you connected with them and looking for an early review to test their services and website, or genuinely looking at them for a children's submission to their magazine?

Geesh. Tough crowd. I'm not connected with them. Just a writer wondering if anyone has had something published with them and if they liked working with them. I did get a short story accepted by them for the magazine, but I was interested in their manuscript submissions page. Trying to do my homework. Perhaps this isn't the right place to ask?

Personally, I'd want a publisher who understands and respects both trademarks and copyrights. I.e., he can paste all the disclaimers he wants on his Disney clip-art pages, but it's still wrong. And to openly link to it on his publisher page displays additional lack of judgment.

I was just informed by Irish's Story Playhouse Publications that the contract they had sent me for Dogsled Dreams (which I was still reviewing) is being cancelled due to the publisher's personal health issues. Sad for them, and me.
