If I was any greener at this I would be an elf!
I've just found this site and although I feel like a fish out of water, I keep coming back because it really is informative. Thanks
I have submitted a children's book to three publishers and received two lovely, no thank you, letters in return. Now I'm stumped. Because it's a Christian Children's Book I had targeted familiar Christian publishers but now I'm at a dead end.
In another post someone mentioned the Children's Writers and Illustrators Guide. I know nothing of this guide but assume it would be helpful. What's it all about?

It gives you a listing of Editors and such with submission guidelines and other things. You should be able to find it at any bookstore.

Check your library. Mine (which is very small) carries a few copies from previous year. You could see what it is before you buy a more updated copy.

Also, check out Sally Stuart's Christian Writers Market Guide. It lists just Christian publishers.

Isn't there a Christian Writer's Market, too? I don't know if it's from the same publisher as the other writer's markets, but I've seen some reference texts for Christian pubs.
