There's a poem that I have read some time ago in passing, and a few lines caught my eyes. Well, funny how memory works, but I have nothing but a very fuzzy recollection of the general gist.
The theme is of a person who yearns for people to take notice of him/her, but the person can't get his wish -- somehow, he is separated from others, and he can't reach out. It wasn't angsty or particularly intense in emotion, just sad and wistful.
Any ideas? Has anyone come across a poem like this?
