Well, after plodding away for the last eight months, I finished the rough draft of my first novel. What a rush to type "The End"!
I couldn't have done it without you guys so thanks to all and a special thanks to Uncle Jim.
On his writing thread, Uncle Jim talks about having a cast party at the end of the first draft where all the characters get together to have a good time and toast the Author. So I had (ie: wrote) a cast party but it didn't go well. I got into a fist fight with my m/c.
