I've turned to Athenaeum Press in Gateshead after being messed about for a whole month, then let down by, Lightning Source, who sent me a proof with transparent pages and a flimsy cover on which the text was not sharp.
Instead of paying £2.80 a book for digital I'm paying £3 a book for lithographic, excellent customer service and proper quality control. There's no interminable online registration and approval process, you just agree the price, FTP your files to them, and that is that!
