Maybe I'm just basically lazy, but the games not being in a central area (password/no password is unimportant here) has cut down on my enjoyment. I really miss being able to go and look at all these creative people playing and the brilliant ways in which their minds work out a puzzle or challenge. Now, while it is available, I have to look for them. No, look isn't a strong enough word. Search for them like a needle in a haystack. If a game thread sat for 4 or 5 months and no one touched it, it was still easy to find. Now, it is laborious to say the least. I think it inhibits play by being difficult to access.

We can discuss password or not later, but the games desperately need an area all their own.

Sorry, poor participant and now whiny little bitch.

I miss the separate section too. participation has gone way down, they're getting bumped and only the most popular are being visited, which means some very good exercises are being missed.
I don't think it's whining, I think it's a legitimate concern.
what can be done?
can poetry games be sectioned into the main board under games and prompts?
can they be regrouped here in poetry but without the password protection?
(which I guess is why they were moved, to promote better access, but since participation seems to be down, that's not working, is it?)

Pour me a glass of red whine, please.

I too miss the games being in their own space. More people seemed to participate and new games were initiated with regularity. Now they have faded into the woodwork of poetry in general. People are posting in the crit section, which is great, but many aren't prolific posters there. It seems to be a handful of people posting. That's not a bad thing! I just preferred the option. I got a great deal of mental exercise and muse stimulation from the off-the-cuff casual play of the games section. With all the stickies and other discussion the games are off the front page before we hardly see them.

That's my bit. 'Nuff said.
