Hi everyone :hi:
Just popping in to see what's going on. I write for children and YA so hopefully I'll be contributing to this group. Need to have a nosey first at all the threads.

A cute avatar is good enough. I mean, I'm not REALLY a raccoon...I just play one on T.V....

(is that joke gonna show how old I am?)

I had a great avatar lined up then realised I couldn't use it.

The racoon thing I don't get but I'm a Brit and I'm guessing it's an American thing. ;)

So tell me, what type of stuff does everyone write?
I've got one middle-grade novel on the go, one YA and something for the 7-9 age group which an agent loved but as she's based in America she felt it was a bit too UK domestic and not my break-out book. It was something she thought she could sell when I'd written my break-out novel which she thinks could be the middle-grade novel but she asked me to do some major revision on it after reading the full.
Boy, it's tough!!

Hi, Sassy (and everyone else)!

I'm new around here, too. I write middle-grade & adult novels. For the last several years I've always had one kid project going and one grown-up project simultaneously. I enjoy jumping from one world into the other as the mood strikes me.

Hi Littlebird and welcome from a fellow newbie,
I pop in and out, trying hard not to spend too much time on messageboards so I can actually get some writing done. :welcome:
