I am looking for two or three betas for a read-through. I’m only on my fourth revision and am not really looking for grammar and punctuation at this point, not anything quite so nit-picky. I’m more interested in a solid read through: does this make sense, are the characters and their actions believable, are there any plot holes that need filling, does it read smoothly, have I gone off on any tangents that relate in no way to the story? Does it bore you or keep you entertained? If it is so bad you have to quit reading, let me know where and why you stopped. (Telling me it sucks doesn’t hurt my feelings. Telling me it sucks with no reason does me no good at all.)
I haven’t really got a good synopsis wrote up, and I’m afraid what I do have is confusing, and stinks, but I’ll post it anyway to see if it catches anyone’s interest. It stands at about 64K. Please pm me.

When Capri learns about her family history, it is almost too late to save her grandmother from a curse placed on the family by an insane vampire/witch. Capri is taken to Darkrealm where she is expected to release the Masters, rulers of the vampires, from the captivity placed on them 400 years before by Capri’s ancestor. A vampire hunter named Niah who teaches her the finer skills of vampire slaying rescues Capri. With an uneasy alliance between them, Niah and Capri, along with Niah’s were-cheetah friend, Surry, travel to the Witches Council for aid. Capri hopes to return home, but the Council tries to kill her instead. Escaping only due to Niah’s quick thinking, Capri runs away.
Niah and Surry are imprisoned and gain their freedom in exchange for agreeing to hunt Capri down and kill her. A death spell is placed on them should they try to help instead.
Unknown that her friends are now hunting her, Capri finds herself aided by the vampires she originally ran from. Capri learns her ancestor not only trapped the Masters, but then worked to free them when she realized how corrupt the Council was. In the end she agrees to help, but only if the Masters agree to send her home when they are freed. Failure is not an option.
