Greetings to the people populating this marvelous forum!

I wanted to stop in and introduce myself (stating the obvious of course).

I am definitely classified as an aspiring author and I must say the task of finding a home for a first manuscript seems an awe-inspiring challenge. I figure that makes it more worth the effort.

I have a manuscript for a short novel nearly completed -hopefully on my last re-edit (been saying that for a while now...) and I look forward to some input on it from you guys should I conjure the guts to post a little of it elsewhere.

Glad to be here and look forward to getting to know fellow authors! :)

What kind of acoustic guitar: I play mostly contemporary stuff like Alex DeGrassi and Will Ackerman -though I play it at an extremely low level.

Law dogs rule.

Welcome, Mel. As you say, the editing part of writing a novel seems never ending. But it is worth it. So pull up a pen and join in.

Hi, Mel. The problem I have with revisions is that I never know where to stop. I have a finished book that I'm trying to revise, and I'm hopelessly lost. . . but I'm sure both of us will get lots of help here.
