I hit send a week ago, and since then I've felt a bit of a let down. Does anyone else here suffer from PPSD? I love the work I did, but that's not what this feeling is about for me ...

Go work on something unrelated. Since you submitted a proposal, I'm assuming your work is non-fiction? If so, then go off and work on a short fiction piece, or maybe some poems. That will keep your mind off the passage of time and eventually bring you back to your non-fiction project with renewed vigor once they accept your proposal. ;)

Follow the money!

As I understand it, the first book rarely makes any money.

So it's this next one that will become a best selling book, a blockbuster movie and make you rich beyond your wildest dreams...so what are you waiting for?

;)

G'luck!
