Now, my complaint is with Blogger Beta, not with anyone who currently uses it.

I find it really annoying that when I leave a comment, it asks me for my name and website, and when I click "submit" all it show my name, with no link to my website!

If you (Blogger) don't want to link to people's external websites, then don't offer them a space to put it in.

Now I have a blogger account, but I find it pointless to put that in since it only points to my personal site. I guess I'm going to have to start putting it in and making people play "follow the link" to get to my real home. grr.

</rant>

I liked the old system better.

I'll go back into my hole now.

Beta means "This isn't finished software, it's got lots of problems, and if you choose to use it, and something goes wrong, or doesn't work, well, tough."

someplace around here, anyone seen my keys?
The sad thing is that now all new Blogger accounts are being set up in beta. I'm still experiencing glitches, too, and I'm not convinced it is any better a place than it was before. Is it the Google ownership that's driving this - a desire to link Blogger blogs to one's Google account for some reason?

I couldn't [cough] possibly speculate but I think that's a fascinating idea.
