6:30 on the 15th works for me. I might run a little late - I have a rehearsal at Arena Stage that day - but I'll be there!
What are you rehearsing at Arena? We haven't been there in a while but are planning to go to something at the American Century Theater soon.
I can carry my avatar! Although he could be hard to spot. He's rather wee.
Hi all --
Just checking to make sure we're still on for Saturday at 6:30 at Busboys in Shirlington, yes?
No more crazy weather! Tom Kerein said all sun tomorrow.
I didn't make it last night. I am so sorry. Both of the cars were taken and I had no way of getting there.
Yes, please. Tell me a next time and I will be there with bells on. lol
I'll be occupied with travel and out-of-town guests most of July, myself.
In case any of you are interested, I'll be appearing as part of Signature Theatre's Summer Open House on August 3 (right across the street from Busboys & Poets, where we had our first meet-up). Don't know what I'll be performing or exactly when, but it's an all-day, free event with a lot of performances and tours and whatnot. If anyone's interested, I can keep the group updated with information as it becomes available.
Incidentally, I just got an email from the "Fall for the Book" folks at George Mason University. The 2013 lineup of honorees includes David Baldacci (Absolute Power, The Camel Club, et al), Cheryl Strayed (Wild, Tiny Beautiful Things), poet Sonia Sanchez and humorist Dave Barry. Ralph Nader will also be a featured speaker.
I note that there's a heavy lineup of cookbook authors this year - which will mean demos and tastings! Vagough, you should see if you can get your winery guide's second edition on the roster!
